Basic Policy GJ Again ("we," "us," or "the Company") is committed to protecting the personal information of users of the Kaigo Pass application ("the Service"), a study app for the Certified Care Worker National Examination. We comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines. 2. Personal Information We Collect We collect the following personal information to provide the Service: Email address, nickname, and gender Language preference (Japanese, Myanmar, Indonesian) Organization information (for group-registered users) Learning progress data (quiz scores, study history, answered questions, study time) Access logs and device information 3. Purpose of Use We use the collected personal information for the following purposes: Providing, operating, and maintaining the Service User authentication and account management Recording and displaying learning progress Providing learning progress reports to organizations (for group users) Responding to user inquiries Improving the Service and developing new features Delivering important notifications Addressing violations of the Terms of Service 4. Third-Party Services The Service uses the following third-party services: Firebase (provided by Google LLC): Used for user authentication and database storage. This sharing is based on the contract between the organization and the Company. 6. Data Storage and International Transfer Data for the Service is stored on Firebase (Google Cloud) servers, which may be located outside of Japan. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer and storage of your data on servers that may be located outside of Japan. We endeavor to ensure that appropriate data protection measures are in place at the destination. 7. Data Retention Period Your personal information is retained for as long as your account with the Service is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within a reasonable period. However, information that is required to be retained by law will be deleted after the prescribed retention period. 8. Data Security We take comprehensive security measures to ensure the accuracy and safety of personal information. We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, corruption, alteration, and leakage of personal information. User authentication is handled through Firebase Authentication, and all communications are encrypted using SSL/TLS. 9. Local Storage Usage The Service uses browser local storage and session storage for storing authentication tokens and temporary data during quiz sessions. If a person under the age of 16 wishes to use the Service, parental consent must be obtained. 12. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update this Privacy Policy in response to changes in laws and regulations.
